Ep 159 - Saturday Morning Cartoon DnD Group

An evil wizard has cast a spell and sucked you into the television. In order to return to the normal world, you must create a DnD group comprised of Saturday morning cartoon characters and complete the quest to defeat the wizard and his guardian, a giant, fire breathing dragon. Roll for initiative!

Live action remakes of cartoons are not new. We went through a spell where they remade Scooby Doo and the Flintstones. Then again with Transformers and G.I. Joe. And now Disney is all about remaking their animated movies like Aladdin, The Lion King and Dumbo. So now it’s our turn. This week we are going to choose cartoons from the 80’s and 90’s we’d like to see remade in the real world.

Ep 86 - Explaining Cartoon Logic

Cartoons allow story tellers to bend reality so they can express themselves without limitations... like gravity. A lot of cartoons exist in a semi-realistic world but take liberties with one particular aspect and twist it to meet their needs. But how is it logical for one animal to talk but not others? Why does everyone else have a job to purchase things but the main character seemingly gets everything for free? This week we're going to look at some of the logic that "governs" cartoons and try our best to explain it. Grab your tinfoil hats, it's going to get weird.

Ep 10 - The New Disney Afternoon

TaleSpin used pre-existing characters in the Disney universe and tweeked them to fit into a cartoon adaptation of a movie / TV show. So we thought we would do the same. Using characters from Disney's vast catalog (Disney, Marvel, Star Wars, Muppets, etc.) we adapt them to fit into other movies and TV shows thus creating The New Disney Afternoon! Everyone on the show is a geek about something, and this was Lanie's time to shine!

Once a show or cereal is picked its gone so who will curse their opponents for stealing Darkwing Duck away? Also, we manage to blow Cy's mind repeatedly shaking him to his core.
