While the Coronavirus rages on in the United States, another firestorm has taken the spotlight, again. The death of George Floyd has reignited the #blacklivesmatter movement and evolved to encompass the #defundthepolice hashtag as well. All of this is centered around race relations and how we treat people who are different from us. So this month we are reading How to Be Antiracist in an attempt better understand how we can treat everyone the same; with empathy and understanding. Next month we will read Star Wars Aftermath Empire’s End by Chuck Wendig.
