Red Dwarf was a British sci-fi comedy show that aired from 1988 to 1999 on BBC Two. Featuring a cast of colorful characters, the show has lived on in books and other media. Infinity Welcomes Careful Drivers is book one and serves as prequel / jumping off point for the series. But does it do a good job of it? Does the beloved show translate well into book form? Or will it cause yuo to never give the show a shot if you have never seen it?

And in The Butcher’s Masquerade, things get emotional as Carl and Donut have to face people from their past and strengthen their bond in order to fight for the future.
