Ep 93 - Last Fast Food Burger Meal

It's the last time you will ever eat a fast food hamburger. So, what will you have? This week we share our ultimate fast food burger meal. Everyone must pick a burger, fries, alternate side, drink / shake & dessert. The catch? Only one item is allowed from a franchise. Who's burger would you pair with who's fries and so on?

Ep 92 - Sitcom Spin-off Possibilities

Cheers had Frasier, Friends had Joey and The Cosby Show had A Different World. Spin-off TV shows have been around forever; some good and some not so much. This week we're creating our own sitcom spin-offs using characters from sitcoms we loved and building a world around them.

Ep 91 - Avengers Infinity War Discussion

After 10 years and 18 movies, Marvel has unleashed Infinity War upon us. Based loosely on the comic series of the same name, we get to see almost every character in the MCU on screen together as they face off against Thanos in an attempt to stop him from completing the Infinity Gauntlet. So what did we think? There was a lot to digest in this movie and, much like the current Star Wars movies, has divided the group. This week, we work through our feelings.

Ep 90 - First and Last

It's funny how the first and or last time we do or experience something seems to stay with us. Our first kiss. Our last day at a job. And the same is true for many pop culture items as well. This week we "borrow" a topic from the guys at Nerd Lunch and reminisce about some of our fondest first and last.

Ep 89 - Pop Culture Mini Golf

Mini golf has been entertaining families and couples for decades and has become a mainstay in American pop culture. While some courses are fairly simple offering a few concrete obsticles and the occassional hill to put up, others incorparate moving parts, sound effects and light shows. This week we're creating our own mini golf course based on our favorite pop culture properties. Could you get the ball past the T-rex on the Jurassic Park hole?

Ep 88 - Ultimate Toy Store Draft

The end of an era is upon us; Toys R Us is closing its doors for good. This week, we pay tribute to possibly the last of the giant stores by drafting toy lines for our own ultimate toy store. Our magic supplier is allowing us to draft toy lines throughout history! Who will get the G1 Transformers? What about 1980's Barbies? Which line of TMNT action figures will get drafted first?

Ep 87 - Media We Should Have Seen by Now

We live in  golden age of television. Comic book and sci-fi movies dominate the movie theaters. There are three killer consoles on the market. So it's no wonder we can't keep up. Trying to stay up on all of this amazing pop culture is a full time job. But there are some TV shows, movies and games we really should have made time for. This week we share our own personal lists of media we cringe telling other people we haven't seen yet. We try to make this show a safe place, but I have a feeling there is going to be a lot of, "boo this man," going on.

Ep 86 - Explaining Cartoon Logic

Cartoons allow story tellers to bend reality so they can express themselves without limitations... like gravity. A lot of cartoons exist in a semi-realistic world but take liberties with one particular aspect and twist it to meet their needs. But how is it logical for one animal to talk but not others? Why does everyone else have a job to purchase things but the main character seemingly gets everything for free? This week we're going to look at some of the logic that "governs" cartoons and try our best to explain it. Grab your tinfoil hats, it's going to get weird.

Ep 85 - Dating as a Geek

Dating is hard. Fact is it used to be easier; either your parents would arrange who you were going to be married to or you just found something who lived in the same neighborhood, building or town. Now with sites like eHarmony and apps like Tinder, there are a ton of choices... perhaps too many! And even if you have algorithms and GPS to help you find someone, does being a geek help? This week we share some of horror stories about our dating lives and discuss how being a geek either helped or hurt our search.

Ep 84 - Most Anticipated of 2018

2018 is here! And even though we haven't even had time to get through all of the great media in 2017, we're already looking forward to the awesome stuff to come this year. From Avengers: Infinity War to Jurassic World: Lost Kingdom, Far Cry 5 to Red Dead Redemption 2, Cloak & Dagger to West World; there is a lot of good stuff dropping this year and we're sharing our lists of the things we can't wait to see.
